Dichter und König, aus südarabischen Fürstengeschlecht der Hodschra. Schon sein Vater war König, seiner Grausamkeit wegen erschlagen. Der Sohn lebt der Rache, schildert alle Abenteuer seiner Rachezüge im Gedicht, "der umherirrende König" genannt.
